dns - sendmail - alias ip address

I'm running 2 local domains one one box. I made an alias ip for my nic so i can access the two domains on different ip's.
Now i want to install mail for both domains, using sendmail ( i need to use sendmail so please don't tell me to use exim/qmail/postfix/...) . I've been fiddling with it for a bit ...

my little testmachine is a 466 celeron with 64 mb ram and so far it runs fine

i runs proftpd, apache+php, mysql, courier-imapd (ok it has some problems with this but it might aswell be the shoddy hdd that's in it) , and tons of other little things i want to test

if openvpn does ipsec you can only allow packets with that have either IPSEC ESP payload, and drop all other normal ip traffic. (i _think_ it's 50 as protocol number)

this only allows only encrypted traffic.

the only problem you could have is that ike uses plain ip for setting up, but that should ...

maybe think about popping your webserver in the dmz (and be sure to firewall it, but maybe that goes without saying)

afaik on the old box. Instead of using ${CHOST}-gcc it should be using /var/lib/distcc/bin which distributes the compiling across your other boxes

hoeveel je ook tweaked, de tijd die je spendeert aan compilen weegt niet op tegen de snelheidswinst die je krijgt.

pas op, ik ben gentoo groupie 1e klas, maar ik blijf er bij voor het you're in control-gevoel en het pakketsysteem, "feels like openbsd with x-mas decoration" en niet voor dat luttele ...

Dit komt waarschijnlijk doordat je niet al je use-flags zelf hebt gezet, dus dmv USE="-* bla bla bla", wisseling naar het 2005 profile heeft wat andere USE-flags waardoor een aantal niet meer nodig zijn volgens depclean, als je zelf al je useflags zet kan het absoluut geen kwaad.

i think the "big" players atm are debian and fedora (ugh) for the server market, mandrake and perhaps suse for the no-brain installation, and not to forget knoppix for bootcd extravaganza

madplay is an mpeg decoder, does the same as mg123

as for mpd, i don't like that you can't make playlists on the fly or play seperate files easily, like cplay does
