Linux Server doesnt work URGENT HELP[ PROGRESS ]

IN ENGLISH SORRY

ok.. i have mad a linuix gentoo server... now my problem is that one that samba and everyithing is configured. Normally if i enter smb:// i can see workgroup etc. but it doesnt show me, neither the server

when i want connect from my second pc ( laptop ) it doesnt work either... if i ping the server from the windows shell the ping works lol ^^

what the hell am i making wrong???

i cant connecto to my server .(

PROGRESS:

its showing me now the workgroup on linux and on windows... but on windows i cant see the server thats my problem!

you have a browsing problem, make sure there is only one master browser on your network and also try running a WINS server

what do you mean with master browser?? a windows server works perfectly.....
how can i change the masterbrowser?

preferred master = no

in your smb.conf disables master browser for your linux sambaserver

it sill doesnt work.... i dont know why

i used domain master etc. and this damn shit doesnt work still

it shows me the workgroup and thats all
