so my computer (no laptop) goes into sleep mode after something like 15minutes and i have absolutely _no_ idea where that is being set. i especially don't like it when there is a rather large emerge going on and i leave during that ... and find that it went into sleep mode a few minutes after i left ...

i changed two things:

• added packet socket in kernel
• added passive to peers mode

now everything is also working with the new udev. someone know an explanation?

how much are problems related to udev?

i just emerged the new tinyfugue, which supports 256 colors now ...

i tested it, but the colors do not appear (by /features 256color, /load testcolor.tf). i tried xterm, eterm, mrxvt ... all of them are working with the colors.

man aterm doesn't help me with this problem.

but ... if you have a look during the install (with the newest beta version in portage avaible), you will see that it trys to apply some gentoo changes. these seem not to work/apply. nevertheless it installs at my box, and i'm able to play.

when i use: each torrent then roughly has a maximum upload of 1, but i have for the same torrent file downloads like 20 and more, once even >60.
