Topic: How do i get runescape working?[solved]

I got runescape running but after playing a while I cannot perform any mouseclicks anymore and also any keyboard input seems to be disabled. I have this issue with both 32 bit java in firefox-bin and 64-bit java in Bon Echo. The weird thing is the runescape-applet keeps running and I can still move ...

Gnome desktop icons position get reset after login (Solved)

After a recent emerge --update --deep world some of the icons on my gnome desktop - specifically "Computer", my home folder and "Trash" - reset their positioning after a login. Keep aligned option is unchecked. I'm running gnome 2.16.0-r1, nautilus 2.16.2 and beryl on an amd64 architecture. Any idea ...

Revdep-rebuild didn't help much. I got rid of the error-message but I'm not sure what solved it. To sum up what I did: downgraded dbus to the latest stable version (instead of ~amd64), recompiled autofs and uncommented /net, /misc and /home lines in /etc/autofs/auto.master and finally re-added the ...

xev is not picking up anything abnormal. I checked bugs.gnome.org for this issue (control alt delete keybinding for logout) and it seems they are aware of this bug and planning to bind gnome-system-monitor with a prominent logout feature to "control alt delete" (a lot like what you get in windows ...

My keybinding for logout is not working anymore. Gnome accepts the "control alt delete" keybinding when setting it but it doesn't trigger the logout function. I'm running xkeybindings and xmodmap.

It's happening because your installed version of gnome-python-desktop is out of date.
Found this on bugzilla:

support for:
gnome-2.14.0
gedit-2.14.0

will be dropped unless the packages:
['>=dev-python/gnome-python-desktop-2.13.3']

are keyworded on your architecture.

Adding gnome-python-desktop ...

If the problem is only occuring with mplayer it is most likely a setting in mplayer is invalid. Check mplayer options - options (control P) and select the correct output plugin. Click configure and choose correct settings.

the mobo i own is very popular if you are aware of sales figures its not a guess

more and more mobos use integrated chips

they are least supported

the specs of my network card etc are irrelevant

i know they are not supported

plain fact

suggestions

include a warning

gentoo is not the best choice when you are dutch=speaking or using onboard devices

also a board for unsupported hardware would be very much needed

stop the lies about the 64 bit arch

its not quite useable yet

gentoo is loosing users claiming otherwise
