Yes you can. To start with gdm put these lines:

/usr/bin/killall synergyc
sleep 1
/usr/bin/synergyc w.x.y.z.

in the file /etc/X11/gdm/Init/Default right before "sysmodmap=/etc/X11/Xmodmap"

Next file you will have to create if you don't have one: /etc/X11/gdm/PostLogin/Default

wget resolves to 1.0.0.0

I am having a weird problem here. I don't know exactly what is causing it, but the symptoms are that wget resolves any address to 1.0.0.0. This happens whe I am trying to emerge packages or when running mythfilldatabase from MythTV. The strange thing is that I can then ping the address that wget is ...

I'm talking about the forums search. When people copy dmesg output and paste it into a forum topic it creates a lot of false hits when performing a search. For instance, try searching for the string "ACPI" in the quick search in the upper right. You get a lot of topics that don't have anything to do ...

Feature Request: Do not search [code] fragments

It would be really nice to be able to search for a string and not include any text between the [ quote ] or the [ code ] fragments. Might help to get a search result dealing with that particular item and not other items that have a cut and paste of a person's dmesg output.

Thanks for that. Strange, I searched bugzilla first, but a search for "kbd" still doesn't show this bug in the result set.

I had this problem before too. I solved it by using a newer kernel. I was using 2.6.10-r4 and I was able to successfully compile after upgrading to 2.6.12-rc2.

I'm getting the same errors trying to configure totem .99.22-r1, but the strange this is that the ebuild does not contain the word elibtoolize that I can edit. Here is the last of my output:

Renew an SSL certificate for apache?

I've been trying to renew the SSL certificate for my webserver, but I can't seem to find any good documentation out there. Everything I found on the web still makes my browser give an unknown certificate error. Anyone know the steps?

Are your mythfrontend and mythbackend machine's separate? If they are, then you must have only compiled them on the server and not the client. Most of them are client side plugins
