hi,

i'm actually thinking about doing the same thing - maybe trying GNAP. Do you habe any max. throughput values? I found something on the m0n0wall list (from 2004) saying that they get a max troughput of ~40Mbps.

cheers,

nico

Hi
du musst e2fsck auf den mapper anwenden...
also erst mit cryptomount dein mapper erstellen(oder von hand)
dann unmount(umount <mountpoint>)

und dann kannst du e2fsck /dev/mapper/<mappername>
danach wieder mounten und fertig

i think you got it right... i thought that when you update your ip via a webbrowser(login etc) and you're using any proxy: no-ip will update the dns to the ip of the proxy

maybe wait a few minutes to get the update to be active...

btw.. can you ssh to your external ip?

or check that dfrazer.redirectme.net is pointing to the right ip... maybe you set it via a webbrowser/proxy combo...
so the ip isnt the one of your server

Also consider, what is the point of encrypting your swap? To protect your system.
Consider the attacker who gains access to an account on your system for a few minutes. Then proceeds to run code that expands to fill all available RAM, pushing everything else out to swap.

i think the point in ...
