As discussed in the last Gentoo Qt meeting, we moved our overlay from gitorious to git.overlays.gentoo.org. This is going to be the final move, I promise :)

Along with that, we decided to change the overlay from qting-edge to just qt. Layman list is alreay updated, so if you still have the old one ...

None of the above, i just want something to be shown instead of blank, and I'd prefer a gentoo logo instead of tux

Currently, in Planet Gentoo , when a Gentoo Developer hasn't set an avatar in his gravatar account, a tux is being displayed. We would like to change it and use a gentoo instead.

Since all packages were keyworded properly and bug 280312 doesn't affect amd64 architecture, we unmasked it for amd64. Thanks to the amd64 Arch Team for permitting us.
Also the Gentoo KDE Guide is properly updated with installation/upgrade steps, and upgrade troubleshooting tips.

yes, kde live works with qt-4.5.2 as well without problems.

eclasses were moved from overlay to tree, sync portage

as i said before, we can't support weekly snapshots until upstream releases them again without the revision suffix as maintainance is very difficult. We have sent two emails to KDE upstream but we got no responce and today there were tarballs again with that suffix

we got too many bug reports about composite problems that's why we decided to put xorg server 1.5.2 as dep.
I added the following line
Option "AllowEmptyInput" "false"
to the ServerLayout section of xorg.conf, and had to recompile xf86-input-{mouse,synaptics} because they weren't loaded (Xorg.0 ...

We have set xorg-1.5.2 as minimum requirements because of many problems reported with the previous ones.
And as for the snapshots, we have removed them because of the rename of the tarballs by the upstream. We are now waiting for an answer from upstream.
