New logo for Planet Gentoo

Currently, in Planet Gentoo, when a Gentoo Developer hasn't set an avatar in his gravatar account, a tux is being displayed. We would like to change it and use a gentoo instead.

Candidates:
First
Second
Third
Fourth
Fifth

The poll will be open for 7 days

EDIT: We have a new candidate, so to be fair the poll will stay open for one more day

Well, the choice mainly depends on your intention.

Do you want the avatarless dev to be pleased with it's default and inclined to keep it or do you want to... urge the dev to set his own avatar

None of the above, i just want something to be shown instead of blank, and I'd prefer a gentoo logo instead of tux

I like the second but PLEASE make them transparent PNGs. They look ugly as hell on anything other than a white background. Remember that most of us use RSS readers.

I agree but someone else has to do it, my graphics skills are nonexistent

I thought the cow was for GNU but that isn't specific to "Gentoo" is it?
Also, I saw the second one on the main page... but where did it come from and what is it?

Just curious if there is some history here that I haven't figured out yet.
I figured it would be better to ask here instead of making a new thread, considering this thread is pretty much done anyway.

If you'd read up a bit further in this thread, you'd have seen my reply. I created that fifth image, which is just an edited version of the existing Znurt graphic.

no, I meant where did the originals come from, not the graphics themselves but the characters in them.
I didn't notice their names though..
So I guess that flying saucer thing is "znurt"?
and the cow is "larry".
I googled both and I just found out that larry the cow is the mascot of Gentoo lol, is that right? I didn't know that, thought it would have been a gentoo penguin.
.. why a cow?

But I couldn't find anything on the other one.
