exactly NOT today/ NOWrobinhood wrote:Well in fact most of the source tarballs are available...
like for example this one :
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/ ... enus/2.12/
it's for tomorrow.

It took 1,5 months for the maintainers to release gnome 2.10 in portage at all, and another 1,5 to get them in the stable tree... HI think you need some patience then "a few weeks"vdemeester wrote:tomorrow is the officiel release, but ebuild won't be avaible for weeks. We should wait until gnome-2.12 is just ~x86 masked ^^rush_ad wrote:lets not fight. it will release tomorrow. we can wait till then.

Yep. I wish I could have waited for the stable one.. instead I emerged the beta 2 -version and after I finally got it working, I noticed today that nautilus-burner doesn't work. I'll just use openbox until 2.12 comes out stable or at least ~x86.vdemeester wrote:1,5 months is 6-8 weeks.. I'm not impatient, gnome 2.10 works very well at home :p
