I use EasyTAG (available in portage) and it works fine with UTF-8 Tags (check that you have that selected ID3v2.4 in preferences > ID3Tags)

I was searching a tool to handle all the text of my thesis report, and then i read about docbook... I started to read some tutorials and to experimet with it. After some time I gave up... I just couldnt get a decent pdf... Now i see why!!!

I'm using postfix, and i woluld like to have mail for local (real) users. I want to have client and web access (thunderbird, squirrelmail?). I've red the how-tos but i'm kinda lost ...

I had the same problem with the same sound card, kernel 2.6.1 and ALSA.
after some reading, i got it running stopping the existing ALSA, and then
env ALSA_CARDS='via82xx' emerge alsa-driver
(not snd-via82xx or snd-card-via82xx)
then rebooted and everything went fine.

I've got this in /etc ...
