Hi Guys.
It takes a little time and pain, to get it work as good as before, and some cosmetic faults i didn't fixed until now.

Could you please be more specific what to do to make Kmail2 working at least comparable to Kmail1. I have never had any problem with Kmail1, having about 8 POP3 accounts ...

Thanks for your answer. You have convinced me to use ext4 also for /. By the way, I have just found out that may hdd has 4k sectors, so for that reason it would be better to use ext4 with 4k blocks and aligned partitions, right?

Hello All,

In past on my desktop computer I used to used reiserfs as a filesystem for / (many small files, including also portage) and xfs as filesystem for data (mixture of small files like mail and big files like movies or music).

Now I have got a new laptop that I am going to install and at the ...

Seems to me there is a lot of problems with Qt 4.7 and KDE 4.5. I solved it by downgrade of Qt bask to 4.6 which was painful but worth to do it ;-)

Hello!
I also have segmentation faults on logout with kmix and ksmserver. ~amd64 here.
Did rebuilding anything changed it for someone?

I have exactly the same problem - I found out that it is somehow connected to QtCurve a background image and gradient (used tenuto-light). With oxygen it works ...

Re: unaligned fonts

The only problem I've found, is, that in konsole, for example, when I'm typing, the bash "cursor" (I don't know if you guys call it "cursor") always goes two or three spaces ahead the keys. This also causes that the columns from the output of an "ls -la /" aren't aligned. How can I solve this ...

Well, a general rule says that you should not release two different things with the same ID (version number). At the end breaking this rule usually leads to some confusion.
But I don't want to complain - I am happy I can use it :-)

Wouldn't it be better to increase revision in this case so that people not following this thread know about changes?

Hi...

mysql-community-5.0.77-r1 is compliled with my normal CFLAGS, ie no PIC included. Only amarok-9999 was compiled with the --as-needed flag.

I've not had time to try it long enough though to know if it messes up the artists etc.

This is strange. It is not working in my system with amarok ...

Thanks for directing me to the LDFLAGS="-Wl,--as-needed" workaround, as that has got me working on one machine. Strangely enough, nothing needed changing on the other!

That's interesting. For which ebuild have you set these flags? Amarok or ...

I have the same problem on amd64. The collection is empty in amarok 2.0.2 and 2.0.90 too. I have tried "--as-needed" LD flag as proposed in amarok forum http://amarok.kde.org/forum/index.php/topic,15871.0.html and no success.
Any solution for at least 2.0.2?
