No, it looks like strigi-9999 and strigi-0.5.5 both fail. I installed strigi-0.5.4 from the KDE repo (ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/unstable/3.92/src/strigi-0.5.4.tar.bz2) and, as I was typing the kdelibs emerge completed, it works fine.

Yes, but I seem to recall reading a tomshardware article that said that the Sempron64's have AMD's 64-bit extensions disabled, which is why they are so much cheaper and run so much cooler (namely, why I bought one). Finally installed the gcc 4.0.1 and tried the above patch
Seems that gentoo-sources has already most of this patch

Could ati-drivers-8.4.13-r1 work with nitro-sources-2.6.12-r5 & gcc 4.0.1 ? I can't use the 2.6.12 patches & gcc 4.x patches together :cry:

I found a patch that "supposedly" works for gcc4 and 2.6.12, but it wouldn't patch succesfuly.

try again; try to go to the place it went wrong and do it by hand (all info is in the error: go to the /usr/portage/etc/trunk folder and type "svn --non-inblablabla" and see what happens. fix it, and try again :D
