A word of warning about leaving out arts: if kdelibs is compiled with USE="-arts", the KDE System Notifications won't play sounds, even if you specify an external player. I ran into this myself, and there's a KDE bug about it too.

The Stable version is too old and wont work enymore... you need to use the unstable, in this case v.0.5.3a 8)

Olhe, o gentoo é como voce quer. Demora para instalar e deixar da forma que voce quer, tendo feito isso a distribuição é muito fácil de manter e rápida. É tambem a única com pacotes 686 (Pentium 4 por exemplo). No final das contas, o gentoo é a sua cara.

but you can :man prelink to make sure...

Undo prelink is easy and safe :P

try to revdep-rebuild to see if something is wrong...

you can use --nodeps, but i dont recommend... Do you use KDE ? becaused kde needs this deps to put your azureus on Systray... Well if you dont use mozilla can take it out saftely :)

take off mozilla from your /etc/make.conf USE list... or emerge azureus with USE="-mozilla" emerge azureus... I think you use Firefox, so why put mozilla on your make.conf anyway.. 8)
