Local HTML-Docs not working with Apache2

Just emerged Apache 2 without problems. (I have the System V IPC built into the kernel.)
When starting apache I get the following output:

* Caching service dependencies ...
* Cannot add provide 'net', as a service with the same name exists! [ ok ]
* Starting apache2 ...

USB Stick not mounted in non-root mode

Hi,
when running KDE as root all USB drives get detected and listed in dolphin
However when running as non-root USB devices are not listed in dolphin even though they are shown in /dev.

Any idea how to make USB devices get "auto mounted" as non-root user?

THX

KDE - Can't Drag files on Desktop

I'm running a new KDE 4.4 on my system..
Everything works fine except for one feature.

I can't drag files on my desktop + all files in my folder "Desktop" don't show up on the desktop.

Any ideas whats wrong?
Or is this the default behaviour of KDE.
Previously I used Gnome.

When you enabled it in the file, restart X-Server ...

I believe some effects don't work using XRender. They require OpenGL.
OpenGL doesn't work at all!
it gives the followowing message:

Failed to activate desktop effects using the given configuration options. Settings will be reverted to their previous values.

Check your X configuration. You may ...

It looks like the file size has changed. That means that the source tarball has changed since the ebuild was last updated. If there isn't already a gentoo bug about this, you should probably file one. Note, however, that due to issues with the Truecypt license, the ebuild maintainers may not want ...

The error message you're getting really indicates that the ebuild can't find the file it expects in /usr/portage/distifles. What is the output of "ls -l /usr/portage/distfiles/truecrypt-6.3a.tar.gz"?

Maybe it's a permission problem, or perhaps the file is corrupt or the wrong version (ie. x86 vs ...

- Did you download version 6.3a, which is under "Previous Releases" -- not the current version?
- Did you download the .tar.gz version?
- Did you rename the file to "truecrypt-6.3a.tar.gz" and put it in "/usr/portage/distfiles"?

Yes, did all of the above..
The result is the output posted.

/usr/bin/X belongs to x11-base/xorg-server , so you should (re)install that package.

OK THX :-)

I assumed that KDE installs everything needed for a window system.
I guess I was wrong :-)

Right now I'm configuring xorg according to: http ...

Get a liveCD if necessary to obtain this information
