If you had issues with sshd then why not just use android adb to connect.
There is sshd and telnet apps or use telnetd in android before chrooting.

adb devices

adb shell

HPC kernel config question.

Building a new HPC from 5 new home office pc's.
MS HPC host, Gentoo guest.

Question:
1. What specific changes I need to make to the cores / cpu's option in the kernel to allow all 48+ cores to be used.
2. make -j option should be changed to the old cpu+1 or is "old dual cores ran at -j16" still ...

I am having a few issues with this version of Gentoo.

This is lovely and works well except from gnome that loads but has no menu's and does not function properly or the incomplete wifi drivers for zd1211rw and bcm43xx / b43.
If I can get this on the internet "wifi" then I can install the drivers ...

What would work is if you can load the marvel module "modprobe marvell" not sure about name of module.

Then run net-setup if available.
To get it to be eth0 use "modprobe -r 1394" and replacing the 1394 with same named module in "lsmod"
then load marvell module as above.

Then lspci and see if it ...

You might be able to cheat by downloading one of the gentoo sub versions ie: something like sabayonlinux.org and using one of it's older versions say maybe 3.26 .
3.3 has 2.6.20-?? already.

Then just install the needed software onto a pre 2.6.18 version of it. Might have to post in their forums to ...

then specify the drivers needed and compile the kernel.
