msi GeForce GTX 660 vs SAPPHIRE HD 7950 .
I know the nvidia closed drivers ar better , but is see many kernel improvements on the ati opensource drivers
they have the same price now . and the amd card has better hardware

genlop -t glibc gcc

emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "dev-qt/qtdbus:4[abi_x86_32(-)]"
even dev-qt/qtcore have no abi-x86-amd64 support

i try the patch myself before posting it.
I assumed u know how to use epatch , to patch it

i stumble on the patch by a problem with world of warcraft using all my system memory. and make my system run very slow

sorry whas not clear on the opengl part i have xorg-x11 as default

but yours bumblebee.conf is not corect

# colon-separated path to the nvidia libraries
LibraryPath=

and
# default Xorg modules path
XorgModulePath=

looks in my config like this

dit u set opengl to nvidia or intel ?

eselect opengl list

u also need to rebuild the nvidia-driver and =sys-power/bbswitch-0.5 afer a new kernel

my intel and mesa use flags looks like this

I'm using bumblebee too and dont have any probs at all

but when u install gnome-shell. it give this messages
"GNOME Shell is unstable under gallium-mode i915/i965 mesa drivers."
"Make sure that classic architecture for i915 and i965 drivers is"

got the base system install. No probs sofar :D

I use the usb disk for boot and swap
Building Gentoo on a USB stick will kill the FLASH memory, which only has a limited number of writes
good thing that i dit not set /var on the usbdisk 8O
boot and swap will be fine - i tink ...

can a set the boot partion on a usbstick ?
My system is a dell xps7 , and already have 3 partions. dell boot - dell backup and windows
I dont want to install a bootmanager on the prime harddisk
so i wonder if a can partion on this way
/dev/sda - is the harddisk
/dev/sdb the usbstick
