Installing kernels with ugRD: How can I silence the output?

Assuming I use installkernel with ugRD because i prefer minimal solutions (and Gentoo is excellent for tinkering, so i tinker wherever i can):
How can i make ugRD stop writing several pages of INFO stuff and patches to stdout while installing the kernel?

While it works as intended (emerge --update --deep --newuse @world updated my kernel today, and it worked immediately), I would prefer to have a less verbose output. There are log files for this sort of thing!

According to the IRC, this is not really intentional behaviour. I filed a bug:

You might be interested in "emerge --quiet-build".
