Are their plans to stabilize gentoo-sources-6.18.x ?

Right ! I was just surprised that gentoo-kernel and gentoo-kernel-bin 6.18.8 were stabilized, but gentoo-sources were not.
I think I was guessing it would be in reverse order

I know it's a bit confusing and users aren't generally required to know/understand it, but gentoo-sources and gentoo-kernel{-bin} are handled by two different projects :) so while gentoo-kernels depend on gentoo-sources, these two packages have different autonomy when it comes to maintaining them.

That being said I see there's a 6.18 stable for gentoo-sources now as well. In future you have better chances at reaching the maintainer via a bug - you can open a bug to ask about stabilization status if there's no such bug open yet.

Anyway, gentoo-sources is stabilised but can't use it as zfs is still stable in version 2.3.4 and kernel 6.18 needs at least zfs in version 2.4…
Does anybody know when openzfs will be stabilised in portage trees ?
