What? Acid2? FF3 does too.Kollin wrote:Konqueror passes it (amd64)
It does work in FF3, but doesn't compile against it. At least last time I checked. But that was just a test, as I use mplayerplug-in.MalleRIM wrote:I finally put a modified ebuild of VLC into my overlay because having FF3 installed while FF2 being in package.provided made some problems. Why does VLC depend on FF2 but not on FF in general? does the plugin not work in FF3?
ah, VLC 0.8x can't be compiled against xulrunner, 0.9 alpha can be. I'm compiling it now without any issues about dependencies.gimpel wrote:It does work in FF3, but doesn't compile against it. FF3 with -xulrunner + xulrunner-1.8* does the trick here. Almost anything that needs mozilla can be compiled against xulrunner too.
VLC too!
Yeah right, sorry. I'm using a live GIT ebuild, haven't used 0.8 for over a year already.MalleRIM wrote:ah, VLC 0.8x can't be compiled against xulrunner, 0.9 alpha can be. I'm compiling it now without any issues about dependencies.
A layman -s mozilla or a svn up does wonders in those casesRMX wrote:Because there was only beta 2 ebuild in the overlay when I checked out.armin76 wrote:And the reason for using your own made beta4 ebuild and not the one in the overlay is...?
