Have you or anyone else seen the problem that the entire customization of the panel is gone?radagast wrote:so i've been finishing one big job and starting another one, and i didn't have time to risk losing my system even for a few hours...radagast wrote: call me a scaredy-cat, but i just need someone to say it's running fine on AMD64.

and i find it's been unmasked in the last three days.
thanks package guys and early adopters...
Considering the significant changes that the panel has seen through this new release, I reckon that you have to reset everything.jeroenr wrote:Have you or anyone else seen the problem that the entire customization of the panel is gone?

Yes, that changed. It's called Xfce4 and not Xfce-4, I don't know who mispelled it in old ebuild. Anyway, like said now you get that information in end of installation, soon in rc.conf example, and it's mentioned also in Xfce guide so I hope that will cover it.1clue wrote:I lost my window locations, but I got everything back together after that.nichocouk wrote:in /etc/rc.conf, put XSESSION="Xfce4" and restart xdm
My XSESSION was Xfce-4 instead of Xfce4.
Thanks.
Cool. I found out the change from Xfce-4 to Xfce4 thanks to the note in rc.conf which says to look for session names in /etc/X11/Sessions/SamuliSuominen wrote:Anyway, like said now you get that information in end of installation, soon in rc.conf example, and it's mentioned also in Xfce guide so I hope that will cover it.

I'd like to know this as well. I don't have any dual core procs, but my friend was trying to set it up and I couldn't find out how to get it to work, and I should be getting one soon as wellRegularJoe wrote:Hey,
