In my search for desktop Linux software, one thing I have yet to find is a good GUI archive browser (something similar to, say, WinRAR). I do not mean just a GUI archive program, since those don't offer much more than the console utils. What I mean is an app where you can browse through an archive like you'd browse through your filesystem using a file manager, entering folders, etc. Also, I've yet to find anything with the ability to just extract selected files only, without the entire directory structure of the archive above that point. Having these capabilities was sort of an unwritten base standard for any GUI archiving program I found for Windows, so it's been suprising that I have had such difficulty finding one for Linux. Does something like this exist, or am I just out of luck?
Just to avoid some of the flames: I have nothing against console utils, but in some applications a good GUI helps for productivity and display of information.
