Why you kicked out my logo hack? :(

I'll test the release maybe tomorrow. Will post a report then.

There is no config option for it. Use a -ck based patchset and you are using the staircase cpu scheduler. Very few patchsets have selectable cpu schedulers.

I didn't kicked out the logo. I just didn't found a patch for it, but I'll make one for the next release with the files you provided on your webspace. ;)

I think it is necessary .... Minor versions usually fix a few bugs. I had no problems with either 1.0.3 or 1.0.4 but I will convert it to 1.0.5 when I have time.

I still have a reiser4 1.0.1 formated disk. The reason is that I didn't find a live-cd with a newer version. Has anybody a link to a live-cd with a more recent version of mkfs.reiser4?

Well, there is this earthworm guy that has a minimal livecd (37MB) with Reiser4 1.0.4 tools here: http://www.earthworm.de/download.shtml. You could dl it and use it to convert your Reiser4 to 1.0.4.
The lack of a Reiser4 1.0.5 livecd is keeping me from upgrading my FS. It seems I'll have to make my own livecd (which is time consuming) or wait for someone else to do it.

Indeed there is a great need for 2.6.12-nitro2 because of ck5, linux-2.6.12.2 and the lack of the nitro logo in nitro1.

So how do you tell what version of reiser4 you have?

And this version of nitro doesn't work with AMD64???

Yeah, what's wrong with this release and AMD64? Are there any problems with it? Will nitro2 fix it?

I used patch-2.6.13.2 instead of patch-2.6.13.1 and after applying the nitro1 patch I only had one warning on the Makefile (nothing serious).
Compiled fine and it's working great now.

I think that's udev stuff, nothing in the kernel, isn't it?

And by the way, the RIP (Recovery Is Possible) Live-CD (which can be found at http://www.tux.org/pub/people/kent-robo ... linux/rip/) has Reiser4 1.0.5 support. I recently used it to convert my partition without even knowing that 1.0.5 introduced some serious changes (well, an world-upgrade can confuse things ;) ), but just to solve the problem that my self-patched grub couldn't read my partition anymore.. =) Worked great! Reiser4 seems to be pretty solid for me, but as always, YMMV ;)

Working now on AMD64 with reiser4. Just emerging alsa-driver right now ;)

Oh, and it turns out my problem was just that my /boot partition was out of memory, lol.

I get two memory errors on boot and then everything "works" except Software Suspend 2 is hosed. It will work a little better with suspend2-userui-0.6.1 (I use 0.5.1 with 2.6.12-nitro) but it still won't fully suspend. It gets hung up right before it wants to shut down - last thing it says is something about ACPI state.
