This will allow an easy method of contacting all moderators at one time.
  • Users:
    • If you spot what you believe to be a duplicate post, please post a link to it here. In addition, include a link to what is being duplicated.
    • If you find a post you think belongs in a different forum, let us know.
    • Avoid multiple reports of spam:
      • If a user's posts are all spam, report the user, not the posts.
      • Review this thread after submitting a report. Please delete your report if someone beat you to the punch.
    • Any other post that you think requires moderation (violations of Guidelines, broken BBcode, etc.).

  • Moderators:
    • Please delete posts after you've addressed them.
Thanks in advance.

I found that link VERY interesting. I had NO idea that the kernel could do this. I suppose it should be in the wiki. I'd hate to ding rojaro for this.

It is, kinda, well, that's for qemu, but the "trick" is not limit to dos format

Reason: Duplicate topic. Maybe merge with "Migration from udev to eudev recommended?"?

It's interesting to see that poll getting more answers from ryzen users.
Would splitting still be of value?

Yes, it would help finding it thank you pjp
Don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I just created a new post and made it sticky.

I have had this trouble and after searching several forums found an easy solution. Download driver from Mediatek where the A6210 is called MT7612U. Then uninstall Netgear Genie and then plug your dongle back in. In device manager install new driver manually and install Mediatek driver dated 28 Oct 2017 (5.1.22.0). It has worked for me.

Three of his four posts to date are vacuous, and look at his third post, quoted above. He's advocating 'In device manager install a new driver manually'. Device Manager is a Windows application. What has that advice got to do with Gentoo Linux.
