PostPosted: Sat Apr 11, 2009 8:40 pm    Post subject: Report violations, duplicates, misplaced posts, etc. Reply with quote

This will allow an easy method of contacting all moderators at one time.
  • Users:
    • If you spot what you believe to be a duplicate post, please post a link to it here. In addition, include a link to what is being duplicated.
    • If you find a post you think belongs in a different forum, let us know.
    • Avoid multiple reports of spam:
      • If a user's posts are all spam, report the user, not the posts.
      • Review this thread after submitting a report. Please delete your report if someone beat you to the punch.
    • Any other post that you think requires moderation (violations of Guidelines, broken BBcode, etc.).

  • Moderators:
    • Please delete posts after you've addressed them.
Thanks in advance.

Topic: How to run game as administrator?
Reason: I know pjp and Hu are in, but just to point that i'm less kind then you, are you watching him for spam?

[I too expect spam, but I decided to err on the side of hoping this is a Windows user who wandered into the wrong place with a legitimate question. -Hu]

Topic: objtool problems when compiling newest kernel
Reason: We should centralize objtool trouble in that thead and sticky it, i expect more users hit by objtool and threads could be duplicate/merge.
-> https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?p=8178028#8178028
-> https://bugs.gentoo.org/645774
I'm pretty sure objtool threads will pop-up. I'm also thinking objtool will take time to get properly fixed.

edit: now you know why the "seers consortium" has kick me out :)

Topic: [risolto]problema compilazione mesa -17.2.8
Post: post 8185460
Reason: can some admin/moderator split this thread with title "AMD Ryzen problemi di compilazione(segfaults)", thanks in advance

[Moderator response: Split as requested. I left a note (in English) in the split. If you want a note in Italian, tell me what to add and I can add/replace to that note. -Hu]
thanks very much Hu, no needed a italian note because I've already notified the user here -- fedeliallalinea

Reason: Does it makes sense? Otherwise, you can move my posts to the dustbin.

[Moderator response: The reported posts do not appear to violate forum rules, so there is no reason to 'bin them. -Hu]

Topic: Error: "could not sync environment to dbus" at the logon
Post: post 8186402
Reason: excessive URL (needs a minor fix)

[Moderator response: I see the poster self-edited about half an hour after your report. After that edit, I see a spurious [/url] tag, but nothing broken. Is intervention still required? -Hu]

certainly not, works now
