That pstotext is really cool! :D
The problem is: I have a PDF file in Esperanto and I'm trying to convert it to text. But, when I use pstotext, it makes a big mess in the codification, since it uses iso-8859-1. I believe the PDF that I'm trying to convert is in Utf-8.
Does anyone know how to fix it ...

Everytime I want to get files from my notebook using the parallel port I have got to restart my system and use windows to do it and that just... sucks! Is it possible to connect a windows system with Linux using the parallel port?

I'm learning esperanto at lernu.net, but I'm with a very weird problem at KDE. The non-english characters are shown perfectly except when they are bold or underlined. Konqueror shows just a square when they are formated like that. How can I fix it?

I have compiled my kernel with usb support (and uhci) but it is not working. The Dmesg output shows that the USB was found, but when I enter /dev/usb there is nothing there.

I fixed it!!! My mouse had a hardware problem and it was causing all this trouble. I plugged my terminal computer's mouse on my main computer and now it is working just fine!!! (except that my terminal doesn't have a mouse anymore!... )

I have never seen such a strange computer problem. I was very happy with my Gentoo System, finally my sister was starting to like Linux... But one day, with no aparent reason, the X system stopped working! Every time it starts, it freezes my keyboard and my mouse! I know that everything else ...
