As a temporary solution I added sort of workaround to /etc/portage/package.accept_keywords/dolphin to emerge 25.04.3 dolphin over my setup.
Not very smart solution, but it works for me.


=kde-apps/dolphin-25.04.3 ~amd64
=kde-apps/thumbnailers-25.04.3 ~amd64
=kde-apps/baloo-widgets-25.04.3 ~amd64 ...

Current version of ufraw can not work correctly with raw files from new Canon 450D.

Just got my Aplle keyboard.
The only question I have is regarding "Fn" key. using xev I can't see scancode from this key and can not bind it to normal "Insert" key.

Actually my problem was not in iptables, but in ethernet (I have to use sky2 module with my adapter). Support for this hardware still broken and behavior is really strange. In my case it was MTU, which was dropped from 1500 to 560 when adapter hangs. Solution is ...

I have same problem after today update. (vlc-0.8.4a-r1)
No one USE flag has been touched, but I vlc doesn't display any video output. Other players, like mplayer and xine works fine.

I'm trying to install WyabdcRealPeopleTTS with startdict. No success so far.
I have tried to unpack this tar to the /usr/share/stardict/treedict, /usr/share/stardict/dic, /usr/share/stardict/ subdirectoies, but in any case the dictionary never appears in the GUI idctionaries list.

Just for anybody who don't want to dig though the lirc source code to fix a bug -- you can just switch to the latest 2.6.13 kernel buld and compile lirc w/o problems.

I'm trying to buld lirc for my Hauppauge PVR-350.
I have LIRC_OPTS="--with-driver=hauppauge" and when I'm trying to make I got an error like:
