Now from time to time I just scrub the data on them to ensure that there is no badblock.

Just did an update of my desktop and google-talkplugin isn't working anymore. Whenever i try to acces gmail from epiphany or firefox it quits and I receive this message:

This is solved after re-emerging all ebuilds with pulseaudio use flag.

I have an Asus eeePC 1201N with Gnome as DE. The special keys for sound -/+/mute are recognized and an OSD in Gnome appears but they do not have the desired effect.

I use pulseaudio.

Since sometime ago my DVD-RW drive is not working as expected.
If I put a blank/written DVD in it , it doesn't seem to be noticing it, it thinks that there is no media in the drive. If I reboot it finds the disk in it but if i want to eject it, it doesn't do it.The disk is writeable this way ...

If I start Gnome with compiz my window decorations do not appear, but if i open a terminal and restart compiz the window decorations appear and also the effects.
It's like the first time compiz doesn't start.

For me after a reboot it worked.

I am on ~amd64 so i think I already had those packages.
