Hello

I'm not sure you need this ugly piece of hack any more, I use the same SK-8135 but at least the multimedia keys works without this piece of crap when I use KDE4.

If you find that you still need this, look at the unimplemented codes, they should be listing the codes for all the keys on my ...

Has anyone seen this behavior... (KDE4, Konsole)

A while back I upgraded some X11 components (including the x-server) and suddenly I started to notice a problem with konsole, it disappear ... I don't mean that it crashes or goes away, the Window manager just simply doesn't display it any more. I can still select text in the window and then just ...

Dell E6400, nVidia 190.42 drivers = Unbearably slow

Has anyone else experienced problems with the 190.42 series of nVidia drivers on a Dell Latitude E6400 ?

I run the 185.x series with good performance but when I emerge the new 190.42 drivers, the whole machine grinds to a halt in KDE4 and compositing is turned off and the interface becomes ...

Hi again

According to the Gentoo Linux Documentation - Hardware 3D Acceleration Guide , glxinfo and glxgears are part of the mesa-progs ebuild.
Make sure it is installed and you should have those commands.

There are binary drivers for your Matrox card. Some info on how to set it up can be found on ...

Easiest way to see if you are running HW accelerated opengl or software rendered opengl is to use the command root@machine ~># glxinfo In the third readable text block it should say which provider of opengl you are using and which version. If it says something with '...Mesa...' then you use ...

You might have to edit /etc/config.d/rc ... # Some people want a finer grain over hotplug/coldplug. RC_PLUG_SERVICES is a

I have no explanation regarding why the blacklisting works automatically for eth0 but the correct way to send arguments to dhcpd would be to add a ... dhcpcd_wlan0="-X 192.168.77.1 -X 192.168.0.1" ... to your /etc/config.d/net to blacklist the DHCP-servers you wanted to blacklist.

I have to point ...

Hi again.

Ok, I think I understand your question now. You want to know if the perl binary can be modified to look for modules/add-ons in /usr/share/perl5 and the answer is Yes, but only at compile time.
To accomplish this within the emerge/portage, you would have to patch the .ebuild file of the ...
