Hi, I'm new here! I must instal gentoo for summer homework.. but I've a question:
I would like to create a new partition for gentoo (in dual boot with windows), but with Gparted I can't create a primary partition, I can do only a new logical partition.
It is possible to install gentoo on a logical partition?
When I'll create the root,boot and swap partitions, I'll do them like logical partitions?

It's because free space for the primary partition are already elapsed. As an experienced user I don't recommend to do a separate partition for the /boot. Most users don't need it.87federr wrote:boot
