onsgmls does give the same results as validator.w3c [solved]

Anyone have a clue why? Am I using it wrong? When doing jobs that require w3c validity, it would make it much easier if I could test locally on my system. The documentation is horrible. I am trying to look through the w3c validator's source code for a clue now.

Anyone have more experience than I?

Okay, I seem to be having better luck with "onsgmls -wxml -s /usr/share/sgml/opensp-1.5.2/OpenSP/xml.dcl index.html" than I was earlier. The firefox validator extension still doesn't quite match up, but at least this is working.
