[Solved] Gimp ruler problem

  • Quote

Post by Gyscos » Wed Jun 24, 2009 9:37 am

Hello !
I'm using gentoo with gnome, and when I want to use gimp, there's a little problem with the rulers :

Actually, it is ok when I launch gimp but If I resize the window or zoom in/out, it seems that gimp adds new lines but doens't remove the old ones...

Anyone knows how to fix this ? Thanks !

Does this only happen in the GIMP?

Are you running compiz or some other compositing manager? If so, try disabling it and see what happens.

If it's only in the GIMP, try recompiling it and see if that solves it.

I just recompiled it, and I still got the same error, with or withour compiz... (gimp 2.6.4)
If it is not a Gimp problem, what other program might have this same problem ?

I used to have this problem until I discovered it was my GTK+ theme that was messing the rulers up. Try changing themes.
