Hi I got this error too.
Searching google led me here
http://cia.vc/stats/author/scarabeus
and found this,
Silly me. I forgot the patch is only for 4.3 series.
(Portage version: 2.2_rc31/cvs/Linux x86_64)
which was committed after this,
Fix the sandbox issue in printer-applet. Thanks to ABCD for this one.
(Portage version: 2.2_rc31/cvs/Linux x86_64)
which is also the last entry in the ebuild changelog.
So assuming the first refers to the latter I deleted the line,

Code: Select all

"${FILESDIR}/sanbox-error.patch"
from the

Code: Select all

PATHES=(
section in the ebuild and the compile is in progress?

Finished compiling OK!

Guys this patch was both added and removed when 4.2.3 was under P.MASK
never ever unmaks it yourself. Seriously we do magic when we add the mask.
