Most extensible and secure CMS?

Problems with emerge or ebuilds? Have a basic programming question about C, PHP, Perl, BASH or something else?

Most extensible and secure CMS?

  • Quote

Post by getchoo » Mon Jan 12, 2009 2:49 am

I need a CMS for developing an online community. It needs to be basic, extensible, secure and future proof. I could make one from scratch, but I'd prefer something with a solid backend to work around. I don't require any themes or anything like that, just a solid backend.

What do you recommend?

-thanks in advance

i'm using TYPO3
well it's 3 out of 4 -- because it's not very basic it's rather big and requires some time to get used to :)
but once you're able to work with it you can pretty much create any website with any features you want

Building on the discussion, a question.

I am looking for a simple cms to make copy / paste (WYSISYG editor) is very similar to Google Sites, and an index page, nothing more.

Thanx

Well I can't give you any good tip but I would not recommend Joomla anyways. I developed a site for an organisation that requested it to be in Joomla and I didn't like it at all. It just made everything a pain in the ass.
