Subject line says it all. When I load the keymap marked mac-dvorak, none of the keys are correct, the characters that keys correspond to are just a mess: backspace doesn't mean backspace, for example. I'm wondering if there's a keymap for using the Dvorak layout on a PowerBook keyboard (this is an aluminum G4). Will I need to do this manually somehow?
While I'm on the subject of input devices on my PB in VTs, how can I get gpm working with my trackpad. What device is my mouse, and how can I set up pasting?
P.S. I'm back to using Gentoo after a long time of not using it, and I'm thrilled!

Maybe too late but I'm using dvorak layout on my powerbook.
For the console, you have to modify /etc/conf.d/keymaps
and change KEYMAP var to :
For x11, you have to modify /etc/X11/xorg.conf and, into InputDevice, set :
But I'm not sure about something : do you want a special dvorak keymap for pomerbook ? If so, I think it doesn't exist.
