openrc fails to load modules

Hello,

i while back (actually before it hit ~arch ) I emerged openrc and baselayout2, followed the migration guide and the reboot went fine. After a week or so i added some modules that i want autoloaded ( modules_2_6="hdaps tp_smapi coretemp" ) to the appropriate file. But the modules never load, and in the logs i find this

It confuses me a bit, and none of my friends with similar setups have this problem. I have no idea as to what could be the problem and I thought that init/openrc was run as root.

Any ideas?
