Hi there,
have a strange behaviour for a couple of weeks with my PC after I updated: when I boot my PC the clock is going to fast.
That means for example booting my computer at 10:00 am after one minute it shows 10:03 am.
That results in a lot of strange behaviour (keyboard to fast, can not emerge --sync, etc.)
The only workaround I found out is to pass the kernel parameter "noapic acpi=off" - after that (and deleting
/etc/adjtime) everthing works normal (instead of the acpi which I switched off - also annoying)
Trying again and deleting "noapic acpi=off" in the kernel parameter, rebooting the PC, once again the clock is working 3 times
faster.
Somebody knows what I can do to switch on acpi AND having a normal clock?
Thanks for any advice
Holm
