I've tried totem but I can't get dvd - work from there. Movies on disk works but no sound.
Using gxine works for dvd but I still get no sound. The movie uses AC3.
Sound works good otherwise. E.g. when I play mp3-files.
Greateful for any good ideas..

What Flags have you enabled in xine-lib?
Check if you have the aac flag enabled. Thats my first guess.
Then you might try the gmplayer as a first workarount. Check if there dvds play the sound, ruling out general probs with dvd configuration...
That are my first guesses.
