> No outdated packages were found on your system.
* GNU info directory index is up-to-date.
* IMPORTANT: 4 config files in '/etc' need updating.
* See the CONFIGURATION FILES section of the emerge
* man page to learn how to update config files.
But, how do i know exactly which file i need editting it?

* See the CONFIGURATION FILES section of the emerge
* man page to learn how to update config files.
man emerge / CONFIGURATION FILES wrote:... To find files that need to be updated in /etc, type find /etc -iname '._cfg????_*' ...

Tools such as dispatch-conf, cfg-update, and etc-update are also available to aid in the merging of these files. They provide interactive merging and can auto-merge trivial changes.
