KDE Tooltips

Does anyone have any ideas why when I first get a tooltip the fonts are darker and thicker (almost bolded) and the second time I hover they look normal? This happens with any tooltip in KDE. Below are screenshots:

Doesn't look like anything to worry about, maybe KDE forgets to anti-alias the fonts in the first one, perhaps a bug.

Are you using KDE? Does it happen to you?

Not at the moment

I don't have a workstation and I'm on my studio PC which uses XFCE.

But I can't recall ever noticing that issue in KDE.

Gentoo is the only distro I've experienced this issue with. It is somewhat annoying so I would love to fix it... Anyone?
