Anyone had any luck getting this up and going? The original UO client is working fine of course and I love it but the new client looks really, really nice.

There's a solitary report of it working with minimal problems in the wineapp database but my own experience hasn't been minimal. It crashes if you let the window manager have direct control over it. If you stop that with a virtual desktop the mouse cursor is invisible, if you just let the window float free the mouse works fine but the app can't grab the keyboard. I got around this by launching it in it's own separate x server. Though after all that, logging into the game greats me with a lovely updated UI.. and an invisible gaming area. I'm kinda stuck at this point. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, the new client looks really nice. It's too bad that companies like this continue to ignore Linux.

The open source 3D UO client Iris is worth checking out too:

iris is definitely nice, though honestly I'm not really fond of it's 3D look at all. That and I've been enjoying playing on the official servers so far which last I checked wasn't an option with iris.
