As most of you know, I am Vipernicus's wife. I have some horrible news about my husband. Last week, he had a stroke, and hit is head very hard on concrete floor. He had 4 seizures after that, and has alot of brain damage, as well as brain stem damage. Right now he is in MICU at a hospital here, and is in critical condition. The neurosurgeon has talked to me and the entire family about his condition. He has very little chance of surviving this. If he does survive this, he will be a vegetable. This is so hard on me, as I am the one to make all the decisions. Please pray for me, or at least keep us in your thoughts.
OMG, I'm so sorry to hear that Amber, my thoughts go out to both of you. I seriously hope the neurosurgeon is just wrong!
Vipernicus is a fun guy, and he deserves a better card in life than to be hit with this.

I am so very sorry. What a terrible thing to have happen, and suddenly too. We'll be thinking of you and praying. I hope that somehow the doctor's current assessment turns out to be wrong.
Thanks for letting us know, Amber. These things are very unfortunate; but rest assured you and Viper and the rest of your family are in my prayers through this ordeal.
That really is horrible news . I'm sorry for you two and your family, and I really hope the doctors got it wrong somehow . Just don't give up hope yet and try to be strong.

My thoughts and prayers will be with vipernicus and his family, he's really funny guy & I wish him all the best
The most important thing now is that you & other family members (as you can) stay with him & talk to him even if he doesn't seem to respond, body contact (=holding hand) also is very important
I hope that he will be better soon
Please don't give up hope

I'm so very sorry. Despite being internet anonymous and brief disagreements, I've always held a great amount of respect for Vipernicus, whose real name I don't even know. Losing him will impact a lot of souls.
He, you, and your families are in my thoughts. Stay strong, for both of you.
He has done some great things, and I can only hope that his light will return.
I am really, really sorry to hear this. I only know him through these forums and his kernel patches, but I have great respect for him. You are both in my thoughts. I wish you lots of strength to deal with this undoubtedly very difficult situation.
