unneeded video drivers in 'emerge xorg-x11' [SOLVED]

Hey everybody, I'm doing a fresh Gentoo install on my desktop. The base system is all in place and now I'm trying to emerge some apps. When I do 'emerge -Duav xorg-x11' here's what it throws back...
livecd / # emerge -Duva xorg-x11

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!

Total: 164 packages (162 new, 2 in new slots), Size of downloads: 92,731 kB

Would you like to merge these packages? [Yes/No]
I don't think I need any of those video drivers it wants to install (except xf86-video-nv?). I'm wondering (a) why portage wants to put them all in and (b) how can I weed out the ones I don't want. Here's my emerge --info

You're right; that does work. Thanks! But why isn't that listed as an option in make.conf.example?

Because
- it'stoo new
- the developers didn't think it's important
- ???

It's already a bug http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133402 , but not a very active one :?

Neither is ALSA_CARDS=¨ nor SANE_BACKENDS=¨, though both were mentioned in related packageś post merge notes(for example alsa-tools).
