Flash plugin firefox.

Hi am great full for all the help on the forums.

Im trying to get flash installed and working with Firefox

I need to manually install the plug in for Firefox and i cant seem to find it anywhere.

Does anyone no how to go about installing the (appliction-x-shockwave-flash) plugin for firefox ?

Nope i have emerged that.
But for some reason it hasent worked in firefox.

I have gentoo + gnome on my laptop and when i opened Firefox it asked if i would automatically like to install the plug in.

On this machine it cant find the plugin.

I tried getting the file off the adobe site.
And i get this error when trying to compile.

ERROR: Your architecture, \'x86_64\', is not supported by the
       Adobe Flash Player installer.

So i guess its not supported.

Could be some config file got corrupted. First, delete the file ~/.mozilla/firefox/pluginreg.dat, then restart the browser; this will force firefox to rebuild the plugin list. If that doesn't work, delete or move the profile directory and restart so it creates a new one. It should be something like this:

Nope this has not worked.

Could it be that its not supported on amd64 ?
