installed the VMware workstation but i have a little problem.Every time i go to start vmware i get this :
"vmware is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured
for this system. To (re-)configure it, invoke the following command:
/usr/bin/vmware-config.pl "
and now i must run as root vmware=config.pl every time i restart my gentoo
i created the vmware-rules in /etc/udev/rules.d/60-vmware.rules and added those lines :
KERNEL=="vmmon*", GROUP="vmware" MODE=660
KERNEL=="vmnet*", GROUP="vmware" MODE=660
KERNEL=="vmblock*", GROUP="vmware" MODE=660
But nothing.....................
Can anyone give an advise ?
