ProFTPD update problem - SOLVED

Hi

I try to update my ProFTPD (http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php? ... 49#3753049), but I get error:

emerge -av proftpd 
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies \
!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "=dev-db/mysql-5.0*" have been masked.

- dev-db/mysql-5.0.26-r1 (masked by: package.mask)

I dont have MySQL 5 installed - i am using MySQL 4.1. So I have question - why now - first time is needed for ProFTPD MySQL 5?

Because now all MySQL using apps depend on virtual/mysql, not dev-db/mysql. So you have to mask that one too.
Just add >virtual/mysql-4.1 to your package.mask and it should work again correctly.
