So is there no such thing as 3D anymore?

How do I get the 3d to work I can't even load a 3d screen saver with out lag.. This new KDE will not let me emerge ati-drivers so how do I get this going?

Are you using xorg 7.1? because if you are then it is not letting you emerge the ati-drivers. you need to downgrade to 7.0 and then emerge the ati driver.
