wpa_supplicant + intel 2200BG - endless reauth

  • Quote

Post by janiskr » Mon May 29, 2006 8:53 pm

hello!

i'v got a brolem - endless loops of connecting/disconnectiong from my wireless AP

when connected i can use network without problems, if i had problems i could not write this post.

but after some 20 - 30 sec laptop disconnects from AP and then starts to reconnect.. and this is all

if set -d to wpa_supplicant flags it shows that iti is removing AP's MAC address from blacklist and zero mac (00:00:00:00:00:00)

then wireless connections is created end thats all - everything starts from beginngin - disconnectionn- connection, netowrk access for some seconds and then again disconnection...

AP is hiding its SSID using WPA-PSK preshared key addresses are given out by dhcp server by AP

what info you need?

if any idea, just ask, and i will provide as much info as i can, right now i do not know what is usefull what is not..

i can give endless debug outpts, config files etc.

wpa_pask output looks like this
[bug=]CTRL-EVENT-CONNECTED - Connection to 00:0c:42:05:02:eb completed (reauth)

did you set the driver to wext? I'm still having some problems that when i connect with WPA to a network I don't get a routing table unless I run dhcpcd -n eth1 manually with this card.
Here is my wpa_supplicant setup anyway. Maybe it'll lead you to the right direction.

Code: Select all

/sbin/wpa_supplicant -B -ieth1 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf -w -Dwext

Code: Select all

ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
ap_scan=1

network={
        ssid="xxxxxx"
        scan_ssid=1
        proto=WPA
        key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
        pairwise=TKIP
        psk="xxxxxx"
}
network={
        ssid="xxxxxx"
        scan_ssid=1
        proto=WPA
        key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
        pairwise=TKIP
        psk="xxxxxx"
}

config_eth2=( "dhcp" )
modules=( "wpa_supplicant" )
