Password entering single user mode

Hello. Right now, there is no password while entering the single user mode. In other distributions, I know there is such a thing, but in Gentoo - no. My question, how to enable this password ? Thanks in advance.

I think that the only way to protect single user mode is to use a password in lilo/grub - and I think thats what you seen in other distros.

And to protect lilo/grub, use bios password too. If you can't trust physically your environment, always set bios password.

When in doubt, consult the mighty handbook!
python>>> q="'";s='q="%c";s=%c%s%c;print s%%(q,q,s,q)';print s%(q,q,s,q)
