apache virtual hosts and phpbb installation

I want to setup two websites, on the same machine, through virtual hosting
I would like each site to have its own phpbb forum.

Ive googled (apache virtual host phpbb installation) and similar terms
but have not found any helpfull information.
Maybe i'm not sure what im looking for.

Can someone maybe point me in the direction of some relevant documentation, or give me some google search terms i might not have thought of?

or,
maybe someone has done this before or has an idea of what it takes to solve this problem/process.
should i set up the virtual hosts first, then emerge phpbb?
set up the hosts and build phpbb from source?
to have two diferent forums, for two diferent sites, would take two diferent phpbb-mysql users?

Im lost.

A few ideas or a quick overview would be delightfull.

First set up virtual hosts, this might be usefull.

Then you need to decide if you want to let portage manage your phpBB installations. If you are going to do lot of customising, better to install manually. But if you use portage, theres vhost use flag.
