Gnome volume control applet?

Hi,

Iv just installed gentoo for the first time, xorg 7 with gnome-light and Xgl. Iv got nice system up but I just cant seem to find the gome volume applet, which displays the volume control icon in the system tray. Iv already got gnome-applets and gnome-media installed. Anyone know which app i need to emerge?

Actually, it seems to be under gnome-applets

Maybe you should restart your session so that your bonobo server get refreshed in case gamin would not do its job.

He needs to compile it with gstreamer support.

Hmm yah iv compiled without gstreamer since i use xine, will try and report back

Only problem now is that i get failed to access child process "gnome-volume-control" (access denied) when i try to open the volume control :s same thing occurs for tuxracer when i try to play it :S. I think i created my user with all the proper group permissions..
