Argh! I need Flash 8!

Yes I realize that Flash 8 will not be released for Linux but rather an 8.5 version. My question is, when?!

My favorite site has moved to Flash 8 and I have absolutely no functionality on it now. It's kind of depressing.

Anyone have a release date for Flash 8.5 on Linux?

Better yet, post a complaint with the website for using Flash in the first place. There isn't any valid reason to use anything beyond Javascript and/or Java anyway. (I would prefer it if people stuck to plain html and css)
